Render HTML in Timeline Events

Hi all, 

I just created a Timeline Event template in my developer account. My details template looks like this: 

### {{ title }}
{{ description }}

So, I got two tokens, "title" and "description". Now I would like to add styling to the text in the description using HTML and the API. Thus, I am sending a POST request to https://api.hubapi.com/crm/v3/timeline/events that contains a token item with the property: 

"description": "<p>Test note #2 with <span style=\"background-color: #f5c26b;\">color highlighting!</span></p>",

However, in the end this is what is rendered. 

Does anybody know, how to add HTML styling to Timeline Event Detail tokens?
