@Jnix284 is it possible to support Custom Objects with UI Extensions in a Public App?
We want to allow users that install our public app to be able to use our UI Extensions in their Custom Objects. I can't find any documentation on this.
Most likely No - because the configuration requires you to put in the object ID that the user extension will show up for.
For example, you have to select a contact for your card to display it. But in the card itself I can query or pull from any other object my app has scope for.

@Jnix284 Thank you for looking into this. I was afraid that would be the case. Hopefully this changes in the future as it's a pretty big limitation. If you hear of anything we'd really appreciate the heads-up.
you're welcome @JoshMamroud, I'm sorry it wasn't the answer you were looking for. At least the capabilities surrounding customization are changing at a very fast pace, my hope is that it won't be long before this is an option.

@JoshMamroud I moved your question to a new post as it wasn't directly related to the post you originally replied to - it's always best to start a new post so it's easy for anyone in the community to find, otherwise only those on the original thread will come across it.
I don't want to provide the wrong info so I'm confirming my suspicions with another dev to verify.
