Padding Issue with Email HTML Module

I'm often given HTML files for marketing emails. Recently after I added the HTML code to HubSpot's marketing email HTML module, the email looked different than the original file. It seems like HubSpot is either adding or removing padding that is causing the issue. 

Below is a side-by-side comparison. I can provide the code if necessary. Please note I am not proficient in HTML, I copy and paste what's given to me and usually never have an issue.

Can someone please offer a solution?

Thanks. I do check and adjust for the padding options. The emails are built and sent from outside clients so I'm not sure what to tell them to include/exclude in their HTML files so this doesn't happen. HubSpot support told me to try this Developer discussion 😂
