OAuth: Unverified & Not Reviewed/ Approved Messages- Can they be customized?

We are currently testing the integration of our application with HubSpot via OAuth. We have created an app in our Developer Account and our end users will be connecting to their HubSpot CRM using our app's install URL. To my knowledge this is the best approach to meet our use case that has the following requirements:

  1. Our app is intended for use by multiple HubSpot accounts
  2. We want each user to have the autonomy to communicate with their HubSpot by installing our app via OAuth integration in their HubSpot account- to be able to send data from our application to their HubSpot CRM via HubSpot APIs using their independent access+refresh tokens.

I understand why our end users/ customers will get the "You're connecting an unverified app" message while connecting via OAuth and also the "This app has not been reviewed or approved by HubSpot" message after our app's domain is verified. We don't want to list our app in the HubSpot Marketplace at the moment and want to continue to allow our users to connect with their HubSpot CRM as described in #2 above.

Is there a way to customize these messages to make them more user friendly to fit our use case defined in #1 and #2 assuring the users that it is in fact safe to proceed? We are concerned that our customers might hesitate to continue with connecting to their HubSpot account after seeing the connection related messages that are technically not error messages, but could be interpreted as if something is wrong. Any guidance on how to best handle this will be much appreciated!

Hey, @SSaraf 👋 Thanks for your question. This messaging cannot be edited or altered. Submitting your app for the marketplace and approval is the only way to remove the messaging. I understand why you want this as an option, and it's not possible.

I hope this helps get you moving forward. —Jaycee
