We have a NetSuite x HubSpot Deal Sync working that sends NS Opportunities to HubSpot deals, and is working well.
However, trying to map the NS Lead Source, which is pulled from NS Campaigns, into HubSpot and the property does not show up when looking at fields from NS Opportunity. It's on our Opportunity record in NS, but won't show up during the sync mapping.
Additionally, we have a sublist/child drop down, where you have to pick one item from a dropdown, and then dependent on that, you get another list of dropdown items. I can see that property under the NS properties during the mapping, but I can't map it to either Text or Dropdown properties in HubSpot.
For mapping the NetSuite Lead Source and handling sublist/child dropdowns in HubSpot, follow these steps,
Lead Source Mapping -
1. Ensure the Lead Source field from NetSuite Campaigns is available in the NetSuite API. If it's on the Opportunity record but not appearing in HubSpot, it might not be exposed for integration.
2. If available, you may need to create a custom field in HubSpot that matches the Lead Source field and use a custom integration to sync it.
Sublist/Child Dropdown Mapping -
1. NetSuite's dependent dropdowns can be tricky. Create separate custom fields in HubSpot to replicate the dropdown logic, and map each NetSuite dropdown level to its corresponding custom field in HubSpot.
2. If direct mapping isn't possible, consider using a custom code action or middleware that handles the dropdown logic and properly maps the fields.
By using custom fields and possibly a custom code integration, you can achieve the desired mapping for both the Lead Source and dependent dropdowns.
