Issues with My API Key

We are experiencing issues placing our API Key on our new product page.  We've worked with our own developers, HS Tech Support as well as another agency and still are stumped.

 

Essentially we can't use the API key because it's being used by a contacts API called "contactsapiweb-web.contactresource.getcontact which is apparently using 33k-50k per day.  We are unable to idnetify what is causing it and why there are so many call happening. 

 

I'm pretty green to all of this so would love to enlist the help of those on this forum that could help!

Have you attempted to regenerate your APIKey and use the regenerated one instead? This could be a simple matter of collision.

 

If you regenerate, use it, and the same other API still collides, then it must be something using your code that is making the calls.

 

If you regenerate, use it, and no futher collision, you should be good to go.

We haven't tried doing so yet.  Would regenerating it affect anything else on our website/hubspot?
