We are using a live chat service on our website and also on another site for lead generation. The live chat service did an integration with our Hubspot account, however, aside from identifying which web page the contact was on, (this doesn’t help since they are mostly from the home page of our website) we have no way of identifying which leads are coming in from live chat and from which site that they are servicing us on. Ultimately we’d love to be able to create lists of all contacts who’ve come in thru this source to evaluate ROI, as well as send specific group followups, so identifying these contacts as such is important. Hubspot support has given us conflicting info, one rep suggested we do a custom property, another said that wouldn’t work. Btw, I am not a developer so a plain English answer would be very much appreciated :). Can someone please help?
