Is it possible to add data from Google spreadsheets using Zapier to an active HubSpot list, or can this only work for static lists? The whole context is that I am preparing a campaign and during this campaign some customers will receive a discount code. The flow is as follows:
1. the customer sends a registration form
2. we will check whether the customer qualifies for the discount or not
3. if he qualifies, we add the customer's name to the active list in HubSpot.
And now is the time when the discount code should be imported from Google spredsheet and added one by one to the customers in this active list. Each discount code is unique and one code per customer. This code should be stored in the “Discount code” property. 4. when the code is added to the customer, we send an email with the information about the discount code and a link to purchase on an external platform. I'm still wondering how to do this? How to import data from active google list to active customer list in HubSpot? Any ideas?
Hi, thank you for your and @Jaycee_Lewis help. I tried again today and found a slightly different way. We'll see if it works. Namely, based on the workflow that collects a list of qualified customers, I send this data to a google sheet, paste the discount codes there and then I import the data using the same file using Zapier and copy it to the correct property for each contact. Later, I will only create a message template, where the codes will be inserted by default based on the property, and then setting up the email sequence to customers based on the list. There will be no need to create lists based on the file, just update the data on the contact.
Would you mind sharing the criteria for your active list? I think all we would want to do is update the contact via Zapier to meet the criteria for the active list. Then, if you have emails set up in HubSpot to send based on the list membership,

Thanks @KMorka🙌 Please let us know if it works as expected based on your new approach. — Jaycee

Hey, @KMorka👋 This won't work for active lists. This is because active lists are dynamic and membership is controlled by the filters of the list. Static lists are the only lists where you can add and remove users in the way you are describing. Hey @RSchweighart do you have any Zapier magic you can share with @KMorka?
Thank you! — Jaycee
