Include Hubspot tracking code in a Chrome Extension

We have a react-redux chrome extension that is embedded in an iframe and is used on 3rd party sites such as Gmail. We want to include the Hubspot tracking code in the Chrome Extension we can use analytics and events for Chrome Extension sessions but we can't get them connected. We aren't sure if it's how we've injected the code or if we need to whitelist the URLs. Has anyone handled something like this before?

Thanks!

Include Hubspot tracking code in a Chrome Extension

Hey @gregatcrystal, I've not developed a Chrome Extensions before with the tracking code, but one thing I'd check would be the settings here: https://app.hubspot.com/settings/3430672/analytics-and-tracking/analytics-views to make sure the domain used has the tracking code on it.

To be frank, this might not be something that would function, or is intended to function, within an extension.
