I just started getting an error 'requires all of [developers-write]'

Our API integration has been running for about 2 years.  I just started seeing this error '

This oauth-token (zzz) does not have proper permissions! (requires all of [developers-write])

' when calling /integrations/v1/xxx/timeline/event-types/yyy/properties.  

What does this mean and how do I fix it?

Hi @danl,

Yes moving to v3 would be the best option here. As there is no pattern and can't replicate the issue, it's hard to suggest fixes for the same.

Feel free to reach out to me, if any concerns/issues while migrating to v3.

Thank you!  As i hadn't seen the error before in my logs, i was curious if anything had changed.  Being 2 versions behind on the api probably doesn't help anything 🙂

First of all, I would recommend you to switch to v3 endpoint if you haven't switched yet https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/crm/timeline

To debug this issue, is there any pattern for this error, and is this a public or private app for internal use?

This is a private app for internal use.  I haven't recognized a pattern yet.  I will add a ticket to our backlog to move to v3 for all our apps.

Yes, periodically.  It seems like it works sometimes, but i occasionally see this failure in our logs.
