HubSpot + SiteCore CMS

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how to, or if it's even possible to, connect/integrate HubSpot into our CMS called SiteCore.

I saw very little information when researching online so curious if anyone has done it here or knows how to do it. I saw one thing where you have to utilize a third party but I didn't know what that meant so if there's any recommendations please let me know.

HubSpot + SiteCore CMS

Hi @SPatel17

There is no integration in the marketplace, other systems like Wordpress have an excellent integration that you can install to connect HubSpot to Wordpress.

Installing the HubSpot Tracking Code, in your footer, will give you most of the functionality you need. Adding forms will need you to to copy and paste the embed code, from HubSpot.

Please test everything thoroughly to ame sure everything is working as expected.

Cheers

Hi @SPatel17

You can install the HubSpot Tracking Code in your Global Footer (before the closing </body> tag) in Sitecore.

You should see the JavaScript on every page of your website.

Have fun

HubSpot + SiteCore CMS

Hi Mike, is that all I would need to do in order to use all functions of HubSpot (based on my package of course) in terms of integration? Currently we use WordPress for one of our microsites and have the HubSpot plugin added.

I'm trying to migrate that site content to our new SiteCore platform but I want to make sure by adding that code, I'll still have all the features and capabilities I am getting through the WordPress HubSpot Plug-In I had installed. For example, with what you said, is that just to get website traffic data? Apologies for any 'dumb' questions, I'm fairly new to HubSpot overall.

Yes @SPatel17

The HubSpot tracking code is all you need to get started.

You will need to use the full Form Embed Code when you're adding forms.

The tracking, chat and other features will work right away.

The only 'dumb' question is the one not asked ;o)

HubSpot + SiteCore CMS

Awesome, one final question on that. When I asked the HubSpot Help Bot before I had posted here, it had provided this answer below. I guess I'm trying to understand what that is referring to if it does indeed work with SiteCore via the footer code you recommended. I guess when it says "direct integration", is it simply saying there is not easy frontend plug-in like say WordPress has and it requires the code to be added to footer or am I missing something here? Also appreciate all your help and quick responses!!

"
Based on the given context, it seems that there is no direct integration between HubSpot and SiteCore. However, HubSpot does integrate with over one hundred third-party tools and you may be able to explore the option of connecting SiteCore with HubSpot via a third-party integration tool. Alternatively, you can consider using the HubSpot tracking code to track the activities on your SiteCore website."
