How to set up the Lead Forensics HubSpot app
As you integrate your ecosystems, you’ll empower your team with the necessary data to achieve your goals. With that in mind, we’re rolling out a Lead Forensics app for HubSpot CRM. We’ve also created this guide, highlighting the app’s value, and demonstrating how easy it’ll be to get you set up.

What is the Lead Forensics HubSpot app?
The Lead Forensics HubSpot integration supports a flow of visitor insights between your portal and your CRM. The app adds more customisability to that flow, enriching your integration with custom timeline events. With these custom events, you can highlight your Lead Forensics visitor information on your company activity records in HubSpot.
By creating visits as objects in HubSpot, you’ll improve your CRM capabilities, your experience as a user, and your ability to achieve great results with your visitors.
Where can I find the Lead Forensics HubSpot app?
You can find the app right here, in the HubSpot app marketplace. Once you download and install the app, you'll also have to map it to an existing integration within Lead Forensics. This guide offers a practical outline of the steps required, but help from the customer success team, customer support team, and customer learning hub will also facilitate a smooth and effective setup.
How to set up the HubSpot app in Lead Forensics?
Once you download and install the app from the marketplace, you'll also need to adjust your permissions in Lead Forensics. If you've already setup an existing HubSpot integration, you'll have previously mapped your data fields and linked your instances. Upgrading to the app lets you enhance your current integration, and to accomplish this goal, just open your integrations settings menu:
There, you'll find a simple screen for upgrading an existing integration with the HubSpot app:

What value looks like with the HubSpot app
The existing HubSpot integration creates notes about your Lead Forensics insights in your CRM. However, custom timeline events, like the one below, add actionable touchpoints, so you can turn your visitor data into value.
Select Filter activity on a business in HubSpot to reveal Lead Forensics timeline events:
When you filter your CRM by company activity, you’ll then see Lead Forensics in your list of integrations:

How to get started?
As usual, your CSM is a great first port of call to unlock the benefits of this brand-new feature. They’ll guide you through the app roll-out, the app download, and any permissions or data-mapping changes you might need to get you all set up.
