How to change application client secret

Hello. Can some kind soul please point me to the documentation for changing the client secret of an application? We need to roll secrets for security purposes. Thanks.

Hi @Peter_Loron,

It's not currently possible to change an app's client secret. If you need a new client secret, you have a couple options:

  1. The quickest would probably be to create a new app in your dev portal. This would be a new app (with a new client secret) but you'd need to migrate over your settings and whatnot.
  2. You can give me your app ID and I can work with my team to see if it's possible to generate a new client secret.
