Help Needed with HubSpot Domain Removal

SOLVE

Hi community,

I received an email saying that my HubSpot free plan no longer supports primary HubSpot (system) domains. I need to remove these domains by Nov 24, 2024, or they’ll be removed automatically.

Since I only have one domain, I’m unsure what steps to take next. Can anyone offer advice on how to handle this?

Thanks for your help!

Best,

Help Needed with HubSpot Domain Removal

SOLVE

Hey, @07468 👋 I found a few matching support tickets for this one. You didn't specify whether this is related to a knowledge base or email sending domain, for example, but the process should be the same. Here are the steps I found for tracking down for what and where this system domain is connected:

  • Navigate to Settings > Website > Domains and URLs
  • Under the Domains tab, scroll to Advanced Options and toggle down.
  • Enable the Display system domains toggle.
  • Now scroll back up, and see the HubSpot system domain connected to the primary [YOUR_CONTENT_TYPE] domain.
  • Either disconnect this domain entirely or leave it connected for it to auto-disconnect 90 days later.

Please let me know if this helps track it down.
