Get access to API communication-preferences/v3/resubscribe

I am trying to use the API at https://api.hubapi.com/communication-preferences/v3/resubscribe but when I try to use it i get a response saying "The scope needed for this API call isn't available for public use. If you have questions, contact support or post in our developer forum."

How can I get access to this private scope so we can use this API call?

That endpoint does not exist in v3, but I wish it did. See the Endpoints tab at https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/marketing-api/subscriptions-preferences
