Get a batch of contacts by email address API Properties not found

I am using Get a batch of contacts by email address API

API - 

https://legacydocs.hubspot.com/docs/methods/contacts/get_batch_by_email

but sometimes I am getting properties empty and sometime getting all properties in response. 

Can anyone help me with this?

Can you confirm that the records returning no properties indeed have a value in them?

By default, the endpoint returns all valued properties for a contact.
