I completely agree that this feature needs to be added to HubSpot for integration with QuickBooks. Employees come and go at our customers, but the company persists. We need to create invoices at the Company level and have those sync with companies in QB. Even if we create the company manually in QB, HS will not allow for the creation of the invoice without an email in QB.
The only work-around that I have found is to have an email for the customers such as AccountsPayable@Customer.com. Creating this in HS and synching this to QBO and assigning this email to the Company in HS and the Customer in QB allows for invoicing to the company. However, this is not very clean and requires that there be a legitimate main email at the customer company.
It is GREAT that invoices can be created by sales in HS without having to give sales access to QB. But the integration needs to be considered based on business needs. Many businesses sell to businesses. The invoicing workflow needs to reflect this.
This is such an important one. Everytime we create a new invoice or quote in Hubspot we face this issue. Doesn't make any sense that the contact needs to be there in QBO -almost 100% of the times the customer comes to sales first not accounting. So stupid of whoever who wrote this integration.
