File Search API is returning files from other paths that we are not expecting

I am having and issue where the file search is returning files that are not in the path that i asked it to find images in.here is the path:

/Roots-Community-Website-Assets/communities/29/&limit=100

this has 12 images total.but it is returning this api results:

as you can see the results return images that are NOT in the path i am searching. (edited)

Any help would be appreciated.

the oly think i can think of is that the numebr 29 appears within the results even thoiugh they are not ion the path i am searching

Seems like it is performing sort of a fuzzy search of the files and fining anything that has those the folder number in it.

i skirted around it by filtering in the front end but it isnt ideal
