Event meta information

We’re sending events to HubSpot from a variety of sources, notably our app (via Segment), Intercom, and some others.

We send data with these events, but when they show up in the HubSpot UI, all the information I see is an event-id. Is there a way to get more information out of these events?

I’ve searched through your API docs, and didn’t find any API resources for events.

Any leads that we could follow?

Events don’t store any metadata aside from the time that the event happened, the ID of the event, and the contact (if any) that the event is associated with using the email address. Any properties updated through the event will show "source-type" : "ANALYTICS" in the version history, but the properties aren’t tied directly to the event itself.
