Error with Dynamic URL in WhatsApp Native Integration

Description:

We are currently experiencing an issue with the WhatsApp native integration when creating WhatsApp templates with a dynamic URL. The goal is to pull data from each one of our customers, specifically their email addresses, to track and see which clients have entered the link and pre-populate fields based on their emails.

The dynamic URL we are using is "https://example.com/form?=example@email.com". However, when we use the format "https://example.com/form?={{contact.email}}", the {{contact.email}} token does not change as expected.

 

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a WhatsApp template in HubSpot.
2. Insert a dynamic URL with the format "https://example.com/form?={{contact.email}}".
3. Send the WhatsApp message to a contact.
4. Observe that the {{contact.email}} token does not change and is not replaced with the contact's email address.

 

Expected Result:
The {{contact.email}} token should be replaced with the contact's email address, resulting in a unique URL for each contact, such as "https://example.com/form?=contact@email.com".

Actual Result:
The {{contact.email}} token does not change and remains as "https://example.com/form?={{contact.email}}".

 

Severity:
This issue is causing significant inconvenience as we are unable to track our clients and pre-populate fields based on their emails.
