Ecomm Bridge Access to Contact API data

we've been using the contacts api and are now starting to use the ecomm bridge. Is the data that we imported via the contacts api available to the ecomm bridge?

It looks like you've already connected with my support colleague Derek!
As Derek outlines, the Ecommerce Bridge relies on externalObjectId
values rather than HubSpot contact IDs (vids
), so the Bridge cannot directly interact with or draw from existing contacts.
Once contacts are imported or synced, however, the Bridge can provide a robust long-term solution. It sounds like you've already discussed some suitable options for your use case with Derek.
