We are working with a custom app, MyHubSpotApp, and last night into this morning, two of our company records has continued to duplicate itself and its one corresponding deal upwards of 30 times. It will not stop replicating, and standard support was unable to investigate the cause and solution. What needs to be investigated to stop this continuous loop of duplication (and then merging to clean up our records)?
In the short term, to stop the duplication from happening you'll need to revoke the app's access to your HubSpot Portal. If it's a Private App, you could simply rotate the access token. If it's a "Public" App, you could simply uninstall it from your HubSpot Portal.
Once this is done, you'll need to get to work with the developer of the app to understand the root cause of the problem. The developer should be able to review their app logic and inspect API calls made the the app to get an undertanding of what's going on here.

It sounds like you may need to uninstall that app and then filter or segment all records that were duplicated by it. I believe there should be a property that shows which objects were cloned through the app.
