Do I need the new Hubspot Developer?

I created several legacy apps- public and private, that allows me to perform API and webhook calls. We use Python for private apps and FastAPI/Flask for public apps

Are there any real benefits to upgrading to the real platform?

Hi @KNguyen0,

The latest developer platform provides features, such as:

• app objects
• app events
• app homes
• app settings
• built-in telemetry

Really depends on your use case on whether you would find these features useful for your app.

Legacy apps will be supported for a while, so you do not have migrate but it will not be getting any new features moving forward.

If you are currently using HubSpot serverless functions, it might be worth waiting for the next developer platform version.
