Discount on products/line items

I'm getting line items in a deal and have been able to include &properties=parameter. I can obtain the dollar value of a discount by grabbing the &properties=discount parameter, however if the user selects a % instead of a dollar amount the value comes through as "". Is there a different parameter I should be requesting for % discount rather than dollar amount?

The property you're looking for is called hs_discount_percentage; you can find it using the CRM Object Properties API:

Get all object properties

GET /properties/v2/:object_type/properties - Get all properties for the specified object.
