Custom object "filtered view" functionality

Hi all,

We've been playing around with the new custom object functionality in HubSpot to handle some additional processes and assets here.  I'm wondering if there is something I am missing with the creation that is causing the "show in filtered view" link to not show up on the contact record page, like when contacts are added to a company.

It also seems that associations don't work the same way as they do with native contacts, companies, deals.  If I create a custom object and add contacts to it... the associations don't pass to companies, deals, or other objects that the contact is already associated with. 

Did I miss something with the association part of the integration or is this just not supported?
