Custom API Properties are not shown in email

Today we send 231 emails via the Single send API. However, 2 custom properties were not shown in the emails. If I check the preview of those emails the properties are not there . However, when I edit the email the 2 properties show up (see attachment) . For the other properties in these emails there is no problem at all.
Can you please take a look into this because our payment emails must be sent..
