Creating a Company Using the API

I've used the API to create a company within HubSpot. I've seen on the forums and tested I can't set values for either; Original Source Type, Original Source Data 1 and Original Source Data 2 (hs_analytics_source, hs_analytics_source_data_2,hs_analytics_source_data_1).  

I can see when I've created using the API the Original source data 1 is "API". 

I want to be able to explicitly define which API process a company was created by. Is this possible?

If you can't amend either; Original Source Type, Original  Source Data 1 and Original  Source Data 2. Is it possible to create a read only property in HubSpot that can only be edited via the API?

Original Source Type, Original Source Data 1 and Original Source Data 2 (hs_analytics_source, hs_analytics_source_data_2,hs_analytics_source_data_1).

Above properties are read only, so we can't update or add these property using api.

I did not need or attempt to set the source fields, so no experience with this.
