Creating Companies using Forms

Hello, I'm trying to understand the capabilities of the API.

I would like to integrate a form where leads enter their company name, and (if it doesn't already exist in Hubspot) that company would be listed in Hubspot automatically as their Associated Company rather than just in the Company Name field. Is this possible?

Hey @ianl,

While it is currently not possible to automatically associate contact and company using the company name field, you can explore the option of using the Automatically create and associate companies with contacts feature.

When this setting is toggled on, HubSpot will automatically create a company record and populate it with information from HubSpot's database based on the contact's email domain.

E.g. if a user submit the form with email - test@hubspot.com > HubSpot will create contact test@hubspot.com and company record HubSpot.com and automtically associate the contact and company record.
