Create company workflow trigger via app

Hi all,

Are we able to create workflow triggers based of timeline events on a company record at all?

We have developed our own app to record operational timeline events, and this makes sense to only apply to the company rather than associated contacts, and as such we want the ability to notify and run other workflows when those operational events occur.

Hey, @SamSYL 👋 Thanks for your question. You are not missing an option. We can use the Automation API to create Custom Workflow Actions, but not Custom Enrolment Conditions. 

Just me thinking out loud… one workaround idea is to leverage certain property changes on the company record, like changes in operational status or updates to custom properties, as triggers for your workflows. I understand this might not cover all your requirements, but it's an option to consider.
