Firstly, not sure if this is the right section so let me know if im wrong!
We want to increase our free registrations to site, but introducing more interactive ways of enticing sign up, so thought of gamification.
Our thoughts were having a medical image or a question as part of a widget on site, they have to select an answer.
To see what everyone else has selected, you have to complete the reg form, and then it directs you to a page which shows in real-time what people have selected for each question, so they can see what most people thought - can then also be used if we do any polls etc.
Has anyone done this before, or have any ideas to be able to set this type of this up?
Your idea of incorporating gamification to boost registrations sounds intriguing! While I haven't specifically implemented a similar feature, the concept is solid and could certainly engage users effectively.
Considering your scenario, you might want to explore creating a widget that presents users with a medical image or a question. To view the collective responses, users are prompted to complete the registration form. Once submitted, they're directed to a real-time results page displaying what others have selected for each question. This not only adds an interactive element but also encourages participation by revealing popular choices.
In both cases, the goal is to create an immersive environment that encourages user participation. If you have any specific questions about implementation or need further assistance, feel free to ask. Good luck with your initiative!
