Sorry for confusion if any.
We are integrating our website inquiry forms to HubSpot so when they are filled out it creates a lead and then we sync it to Salesfore. We are having an issue where a user for example is in Spain and chooses United States as the country on the form, but it causes a mismatch showing Spain. The contact in HubSpot Country Shows United States but IP Country shows Spain causing the lead to show Spain Our web developer thinks HS records the IP address itself using its tracking code? People can be on VPN’s, IP addresses can be recorded incorrectly or spoofed etc and also people can of course be in said countries while making enquires for other other countries.
Any thoughts others with issue or advice? Thanks

You are correct that at the time of submission, HubSpot records their IP country. Are you validating this in SFDC for instance? Couldn't you just map off of the country response they give and ignore the IP?
