I imported some new deals into my database, and i used the contact email as the identifier for the associated record. I have created a custom property of 'campaign' so that i can attribute the deal to a particular activity. This custom property exists for both contacts and deals.
When i imported the deals data, the campaign field in my contact record was also updated which is not what i wanted. It should have only updated the deals campaign field. Any idea why this happened?
