Contact GET code no longer working

SOLVE

Hi my organisation's website's login has stopped working and in digging into the code I have identified that it's using the following:

https://api.hubapi.com/contacts/v1/contact/email/${email}/profile

 

Do you know if this is still supported or does it now need to be updated to V3?

 

Unfortunately we no longer have access or contact with the original developer to support on this.

Hi Ben,

 

Debugging old code can be challenging, debugging old code from other people is always even more challenging.

 

So, it's a good plan to talk to your agency to see if they can help.

 

The good news is that everything (code, keys, etc.) is in your HubSpot Portal so that makes it easier to investigate, and fix. 

 

If your agency can't help feel free to get in touch. or, if they only speak in acronyms, and you need a translator, you can invite me along to the meeting ;o)

Hi @Mike_Eastwood,

 

The website is built entirely in HubSpot CMS. We believe the website login stopped working recently as we haven't had any customer complaints etc. Previously when this issue occurred it was because there was an issue with the API key, however now we have moved over to private app authentication and everything was working fine.

Looking at that page you shared the node.js example is structured in the exact same way as our page so maybe this isn't the issue.

 

I am going to reach out to the agency that did the API to private app swap to see if they can assist as they are an existing approved and setup supplier.

Looks to me like the Get Contact By Email API is still available.

 

How long ago did the website stop working?

 

What's your website built in?

 

And how are you calling the API?
