Consume 3th API by APIkey

Hi

In an OAuth HubSpot app can I consume API from other service that haven't OAuth validation method but, for example, APIkey one?

Let me explain:

I know that the HubSpot integrations MUST have OAuth method, sound good, but, inside of this , can I use external service via API with out OAuth validation or the integration will be rejected?
(I would like to trigger/collect data by API service with API key validation or no validation...)

Hey @galatioto, I am not sure I understand your question. Do you mean using an external service with an API key while using a HubSpot developer app that is authenticated over OAuth? If that is the case, then that sounds perfectly fine.

In my experience, API keys are problematic as you will need to rotate them to remain secure.

Thanks for your answer. Yes, this is my scenario; I would like to make an HubSpot app that uses an external service protected only by API key. But of course I want to publish it on the marketplace (so NO private app)

Sorry for the late response. I see no issue communicating with third-party services within a HubSpot app over an API key.
