long story short: not recommended to invest time (and money) into an accordion for emails since it won't work in most cases/email clients
While you could technically create a custom module for email accordions you shouldn't do it. The reasons for that are:
most email clients are extremly limited and working differntly than a modern browser. For instance Outlook desktop works completly different than Outlook online. GMail is a whole other story and - to be honest - a developers nightmare
Users don't know accordions in emails - so even if you could get that custom module up and running the reciever might not click on it.
the only way you could get such function near to running is with a custom coded email template which includes a custom module and the whoel css styling inside a style-tag in the head-tag. Otherwise most clients will cut the styling/functionality.
The easiest (and cleanest) way would be to put a link/button with "read more" into the mail and link a page with more information/accordions/FAQ.
