Chat - !important CSS rules to make chat take up full window

I am integrating a chat onto a page and want it to take up the full width and height of this particular page but there are so many !important CSS snippets I'm running into preventing me from doing so. Is there a quicker way to do this or a way to change and manipulate the CSS myself for this?
