Can I create a Line Item WITHOUT an associated product
I am working on importing sales orders from NetSuite as Deals in Hubspot and have run into a small snag.
From reading the HubSpot API documentation for importing line items for the deal it seems that a product ID is required when creating a new line item. This is fine for the products, but I also need to import line items for tax and shipping costs and there is no product associated with those and I don't believe that there should be. Am I mistaken?
Is it possible to create line items without an associated product ID for tax and shipping? Or what is the best way to handle this?
