Association deal company

Passing deal ID I am getting the association of the company. I have scenario where deal (1A) associated with a company(A) and the association removed from deal (1A).

The updatedAt field belongs to the deal is not updated with new datetime. On the other hand updatedAt field belongs to the company gets updated.

I have pipeline which looks for T-1 deal id update/create to look for association. In that scenanrio my pipeline fail to get the associations.

Now do I have to look reverse association company to deal rather?

In that case should have look up for both way? or is there any other way to do this?
