we have a portal that was registered as a developer account that already has a marketplace app registered on it.
We would like to create a new app and start with the review process, but we're no longer able to generate a developer API key (hapikey) on that account. It's needed so we can create new objects that require a developer API key (such as workflow actions, ...). Additionally, we would like to perform some updates on the existing application.
However, when looking in the developer account, we can no longer see the Apps section. We are able to get to it from marketplace listings but when clicking on "Get Hubspot API key", we get the following error: "This isn't a developer account It looks like you're trying to access app development tools that aren't available on this account."
Is there any way around this problem? We can workaround this issue by registering a new developer account and creating the listing there but then we have two apps in two seperate accounts. We haven't found a way to work around updating the existing app.
thank you for the instructions. However, that wasn't the issue. I was able to get in touch with the right people and am working on resolving the issue.
For anyone who lands here, our problem was that since the portal was old, it was of a type that's being slowly deprecated so the solution is to transform it to a dev-only kind of portal or migrate apps to a separate dev-only portal which the support is able to do.
Let me know if I did not understand your questions or if you need additional clarification!
Best,
Kennedy
