Api limit increase, form 160k to 1 million

Hi all, today's quota limit increased from 160k to 1M

is this smth related to the last outage?

Hi there, with regard to the Api call limit per second:

It changes a lot. Before there was a limit of 10 requests / second.

Now it is 120 / 10 seconds. What does that mean? Is it now 12 / second or we can burst 120 calls in one second and then be blocked for 9 seconds. It is a huge change of API usage and such change must be clearly introduced before launching.
