Hi,
We have some custom forms on our website that use the Hubspot Forms API to capture leads. We are changing what happens after the forms are submitted. After the forms are submitted, the users will be redirected to a post-submission page where they learn more about our product/pricing, and then will be prompted to click a button to continue to purchase.
What we would like to do is determine what users/leads drop off on this page after submitting a form.
So far, our best idea is to add a second, hidden form (or really just an API call) on this page that takes user data from the URL params and, if they click the buttons to go to purchase, sending that user data to the Forms API. Presumably, if we send the same email as the initial form submission, then the two submissions will be linked in HS.
However, I wanted to find out if there was a better way of doing this, perhaps with a custom HS analytics event or something else.
Thank you,
Ben

Hey, @UInsight 👋 Thanks for reaching out! Let's see if any of our community members have solved for this type of situation. @LMeert @NicoleSengers @StjepanGrcic have you built out anything similar to what @UInsight is describing?
Thank you! — Jaycee
