Add new users from cloud sign up to hubspot sequence
Hello,
We would like to add any new users that sign up for our cloud product into hubspot sequences so they can receive emails from the right sequence during their 30 day trial. Is it possible to do and how?

Thanks Olivia. We want to avoid requiring someone to manually enroll people. We have a sales hub professional subscription right now and I am looking for an API way of doing this if possible
From my own research, I can not see that HS as a sequence API that allows for contact enrollment. You would need an Enterprise elevel subscription to automate sequence enrollment. Would that be something you would consider? If not, how about using marketing emails for the same purpose?

Could you please explain what you mean by marketing email in this scenario? We have someone who we want to send a series of emails on day 1 , day 3, day 7, day 14, day 21, and day 30. And we want to add them to that series programmatically by call some hubspot API from another app.

Hey, @vishakha041 To back up what @Olivia_Bagnall is suggesting, there is not a Sequence API or related endpoints for sequence enrollment. Her suggestions are on-point as far as recommendations for a workaround or solution with a use case like yours.
Sequences are programmed sequences of personal one-to-one emails get get sent from your connected personal inbox such as gmail or outlook. Marketing emails are stylised emails sent via shared HubSpot servers. Here is a helpful breakdown of the two forms of automated email communication:
In gerneal, sequences are used more towards the end of the buyer journey for things like following up on meetings, contracts, trying to book a sales meeting etc .. Marketing emails are used to nurture leads.
What is the goal of the emails you will send out during the 30 day trial and how many emails sends do you envision per day?

My name is Olivia and I am a HubSpot specialist with Baskey Digital. Nice to connect!
So this is relatively easy if you have the right HS subscription. With an Enterprise subscription, you can use a HubSpot workflow to auto enroll these contacts into a sequence. If you do not have Enterprise then the best option would be to add them to a list and bulk enroll that list into a sequence at the end of each day.
That all being said, what might actually be a better solution here all together would be to use marketing emails instead of sequences. This would also be through a workflow but would reauire only a professional subscriptipn and it is a lot easier to report on the success of marketing emails.
What do you think? I'd love to hear a bit more about your exact process and about what HuvSpot subscription you are working with so that I can give you the best advice. Thank you!
Please feel free to email me directly or to book a meeting if you want to talk directly.
