API value for 'Legal Basis for Processing Contact's Data' property

My client are developing a third-party consent platform, but we can't figure out how the API sends data relating to the 'Legal Basis for Processing Contact's Data' property.

Hopefully the question makes sense, but I'm not a developer..

Any help with pointing us in the right direction would be much appreciated!

I think you are looking for the API documentation relating to subscription preferences: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/marketing-api/subscriptions-preferences

Lawful basis is stored per contact, per email subscription type in a property called legalBasis.
