Hi - we're trying to utilize the HubSpot x NetSuite app connector now available, and are also a Operations Hub Starter account.
I have been able to sync HubSpot contacts <> NetSuite Contacts, including custom fields.
However, I've setup a HubSpot companies <> NetSuite Companies sync and have no idea where these are being pushed into NetSuite, if at all, because nothing can be found in Leads, Accounts, Prospects, etc.
There's also no way to know if any sync errors are occuring, correct?
Anyone know where the HubSpot company sync is pushed to in NetSuite?
Also, anyone ever find a way to sync either HubSpot contacts or companies to the Leads section of NetSuite?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if other solutions others have used.
Yes, thanks @webdew, understand what it says it's supposed to do, but in NetSuite there is no "Company" record, only the below types of accounts, plust Contacts. It's confusing and I think a TERRIBLE system, but unfortunately stuck with it from an ERP/CRM standpoint, so trying to make best through HubSpot integration.
What trying to understand as there is no "Company" listing in NetSuite, does this mean HubSpot is trying to send their Companies to Accounts, Prospects, Leads, etc...that's what can't be clear on, and can't see any sync errors to know if this just isn't working. Thanks for trying to help though.
Lead: allows you to track all the information you need to convert a lead into a customer. Leads have no estimates, opportunities or transactions associated with them. If an estimate or opportunity is created for a lead, the lead becomes a prospect. If you create a sales transaction for a lead, the lead becomes a customer.
Prospect: allows you to track all the information you need to convert a prospect into a customer. Prospects have no sales orders, invoices, cash sales or other sales transactions associated with them. They can have opportunities and estimates associated with them, however. If a sales transaction is created for a prospect, or an opportunity is closed for a prospect, the prospect becomes a customer.
Customer: allows you to track all the information on your current customers.
@DanCowan17 Thanks for starting this thread. I am exploring the sync feature for my business and would like to know more about what to watch out for before I turn anything on. Would you have time for a quick chat?
okay so I'm looking at this documentation here, and from my understanding, company data in HubSpot will sync with Company Customers on Netsuite -
If we click on the dropdown highlighted in the screenshot above, we will be able to see a list of properties/fields that can sync with this integration.
Hope this helps!
