Question: Does the connector store Netsuite Internal IDs in Hubspot when synced? I'm assuming yes because it's able to handle updates - but on which property?
Hi @ZDev and welcome to the Community! We are so glad to have you here!
Thanks for asking the Community!
I'd like to share the Netsuite documentation where I can see, in the shared data, that for companies, the "Customer external ID" is an additional field available with custom field mappings. So you can map it with a field of your choice.
However, I did not see "Netsuite internal ID", is that a custom field, please?
The more info, screenshots (without sensitive/confidential information), and details you can provide, the better the Community can assist.
I'd like to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @ScottPennwood, @johnelmer and @ArtyCele do you have suggestions to help @ZDev, please?
I am wondering where this is stored in Hubspot, or if it does not store this, then how does the Hubspot Netsuite connector lookup which record to Update in Netsuite when handling update sync from Hubspot.
Sorry i've not had direct experience with this tool. If it works like some other integrations it will simply be a case of creating the custom field in HubSpot and pointing it at that, but there are some Netsuite experts on here that may be able to answer better!
