Getting the company name associate to a deal to add in my Task personalization

• In my automation, I want to create a task that gets triggered when a deal reaches a certain stage
• I select "Create Task" action
• I want the task to say "follow up with [Customer Name]". However, I cannot select this in the Personalize drop down 
• Is there an action I have to add beforehand to get the associated company?

Hi @MarwanDajani,

You didn't miss anything. While it seems like an obvious option to have, it's not available in that dropdown.

If you want to use the company name in tasks created from deal-workflows, you first need to create a single-line text field on the deal record to store the company name and then create a workflow that copies the company name from company to deal record:
