[Beta] Syncing deals
Hi everyone!
There have been a lot of announcements today because of INBOUND. We already heard that an Enterprise tier will be added to Operations Hub on November 1, but what’s also exciting is the long-awaited arrival of deal sync to data sync!
If you’ve attended any of our recent community events, you might have heard us hinting at it, but deal sync is finally here - or at least we're allowing some of you try it out in beta!
UPDATE: we're rolling this out gradually starting today
What's the deal?
This is about adding the ability to synchronize HubSpot deals with deal-like objects (often called opportunities) in other 3rd party applications.
The update applies to most CRM apps inside of the data sync collection: Netsuite, Dynamics, Outreach, SugarCRM, Zoho CRM, Zendesk Sell, Insightly, ActiveCampaign, Copper, Bullhorn, Close, Keap, Freshsales Suite, Ontraport, FollowupBoss, Connectwise Manage.
Here's how it works
Heads up: this will sync core properties from a deal. That includes items like amount, date, stage, custom properties,.... Basically most what sits in the left of your Deal detail screen. But it won't sync what's on the center or the right side of your screen: timeline events, or other objects attached to a deal (line items, quotes, ...). It does include associations with contacts/companies though.
Question for anyone on this feature: Is there a way to sync the line items of a deal (i.e. from quotes) to NetSuite via Operations Hub Pro? Really need to understand our options here asap - related to a clients renewal.
