Associate objects based on a custom property

Hi HubSpot Community !

I am almost sure that this need custom development, and I need to confirm this.

Context:

A user submit a form, which contains a field based on a custom property, order_number for example. On submit, form is linked to an inbox that treat new conversations as support tickets.

At the same time, we have deals that also contains a property named order_number.

Requirement:

On ticket creation, how would it be possible to automatically create an association between ticket and deal, based on the order_number custom property?

No development needed 🙂 this is in beta: https://knowledge.hubspot.com/workflows/manage-crm-record-associations-with-workflows

You can check in the top right menu drop-down in HubSpot, under product updates, whether you can enroll in the beta. If not, you'll have to wait a little longer. In the meantime, the marketplace app Associ8 might solve the immediate need.
