Are Shopify Line Item Properties mapped to anything in HubSpot?

SOLVE

We're using the Shopify Connector to pull in Abandoned Carts.
In Shopify, each Line Item has a 'Properties' free-text field.
We store in that field Customer data related to that Line Item (e.g. Student Name for an Online Test).
Is that 'Properties' property mapped to anything in HubSpot?
We'd hoped it would be the 'Body HTML' property but it's not, that property is empty.

Hi @GWardJan

I am assuming you are using an app present in Marketplace to connect HubSpot and Shopify.

If yes, then you can find the support email of the developer and they will resolve your issue.

If you are using your own Integration please share how you are connecting the two platforms so that we can help you in a better way.

I hope this will help you out. Please mark it as Solution Accepted and upvote to help another Community member.
Thanks!

Are Shopify Line Item Properties mapped to anything in HubSpot?

SOLVE

As others have said, before we can give an answer we need to figure out which app you are using for the integration.

Most likely you are using the standard integration, which does sync the line items connected to specific orders, to the Line Items field on the HubSpot orders.

Alternatively, you might be thinking of the Line Items object in HubSpot (line items connected directly to deals as an object in Salesforce and not as a field). As best as I can tell, there is no sync of data between Shopify line items and the HubSpot line items object, just the HubSpot Orders "Line Items" field. Hope that helps.

However, also wanted to mention that Insycle could help if you need it to work for the Line Items object. Full disclosure, I work for Insycle. But it does integrate directly with the line items object, allowing your to import, bulk update, and associate line items to deals in bulk. So it would take a little playing around with, but you could definitely get something setup.

We use HubSpot's Shopify Connector to sync Abandoned Carts from Shopify to HubSpot.

Those mapped Abandoned Carts come with mapped Line Items.
We can't see what is and isn't getting mapped on those Line Items, and 'Body HTML' property seems empty.
In Shopify we store important information in the 'Properties' field of a Line Item and this doesn't appear to be present in HubSpot anywhere.

Hi @GWardJan and welcome to the Community! 🎉
We are so glad to have you here!

Thank you for asking the Community!

I believe this is the Shopify integration you are using. Please let me know if that's not the case.
Is the "Properties" property in Shopify a native property or a custom property?

I'd like to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @PStoermer, @BSchipner, @johnelmer, @Shadab_Khan and @HubSpot_Corey do you have suggestions to help @GWardJan, please?

Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation 🙂

Thank you very much and have a brilliant day and weekend!

Best,
Bérangère

Yes, using HubSpots Shopify Connector to integrate.

The Properties field is native to Shopify, not custom.
