Tracking pipeline over time... automatically

SOLVE

Hi community,

We were challenged by our board to start tracking total pipeline and weighted pipeline over time. I've looked through lots of custom and pre-built reports and can't seem to find one that captures historic pipeline, or can capture the pipeline on a specific day to add a report (for example, take pipeline on 1 August, 1 September, 1 October, etc. and create a graph). Is this possible, or will it always be a manual process.

Many thanks!

Have you used the Historical Snapshots report in the Sales Analytics? This thread has some additional ideas for customizing it.

HI @YourHeadofSales hope you are doing great.

If you already know which dates you need to report on

I'd prepare a special dashboard with the report of pipeline information you need

and clone it 11 times and edit the dates.

So this way you have the January, February...(and so on) reports ready

to be filled when the month arrives. And at the end of the year

you have all the historic data there.

Hope this helps.
